The DOL Overtime Final Rule: What Happens Next?

When:  Jun 2, 2016 from 01:00 PM to 02:30 PM (ET)

Description

On May 23, the Department of Labor (DOL) finalized a rule that significantly impacts employers across industries. The rule raises the threshold below which all employees must be paid overtime. Additionally, it creates an auto-update mechanism to adjust the threshold at a regular interval. DOL issued a separate, non-binding document announcing a time-limited period of non-enforcement for certain providers of Medicaid-funded IDD services.

What does the DOL Overtime Final Rule mean to you, your organization and your employees? What staff will be impacted? What exactly does “non-enforcement” mean and how should/could it be interpreted?

Join ANCOR on Thursday, June 2nd as we share our analysis of the Final Rule and separate non-enforcement clause, report back on our May 26 meeting with DOL Secretary Tom Perez, update you on the status of our Save Our Services Campaign advocacy work, and help you think through next steps for your organizations as you prepare for compliance.
